Head Buffeting

At speeds approching 120-130mph. I'm experiencing a lot of wind buffeting. Is this the narure of the VTR, or is it related to the wind screen?

Just you, body position, nature of most any bike. All have sweet and bad spots, speeds, May also be the helmet your wearing.

Im 5'6" , 4 in rise apex bars, aftermarket double bubble wind screen.
Assuming Im not in dirty air from a vehicle close by.. I feel no air turbulence like you describe from idle to top speed in my gearing.

+1 for the possibility of your helmet. I Started wearing lids with a lip on the back and it's remarkable the difference.

I wear an Arai. Never had a problem on a hayabusa at a much faster speed

I'm thinking double bubble would help

Well... Have you looked at the profile of the Busa vs the Superhawk... The Busa is made to divert the airflow at high speeds, period... The Superhawk isn't... Apples and Oranges...

But yes, a DB screen helps if you are a taller rider like me... Also the lips and air shaping parts on newer helmets make a huge difference...
