Givi side rack adaptation

Hello,

As you already know, there is no side rack available.

My bike already has a Givi top case rack, and after some thinking I got the idea of using a the rack for another model. I already got the side cases, and don't like big top cases.

The cheapest I could find was PL7403- I'd bend the lower legs to align them with the passenger pegs screws, and I'd fit the top part to the existing givi rack, either by drilling a hole or using a screw steel band. Then the back would be the easiest to cut/extend.

What do you think? Anyone tried this?

I adapted my wingrack that I had on my F3. It fit pretty much straight on but some mods at the footpeg brackets. I made it way narrower by cutting the fairing and putting against the subframe.
This is with e21s but I have 2 e45s (45 liters each) that go on.
If you have a mono rack now the wing racks are different, they incorporate all 3 racks. I have a monorack too but need the option of side cases.

Turns out there is an universal givi rack available. GIVI SBL2000. Bad news- it's only available in Asia. Still searching for a shop with reasonable shipping charges to Europe...

I see them for sale a lot on the forums, like BARF, NESR, etc. Even on the ADV forum the change hands a lot.
