Front flushmount led turn signals wont blink.
Hey guys, new to forum, but ive been skimming your sight for great technical info lol. Thanxs btw.
So i have a 2005 Super hawk. Bought some nice smoke led flushmount lights for $7 from china (Dont knock the purchase its the same as buying it at a store but 3 times less) Look great, fit nice BUT when i plugged them in (orange w / stripe is positive right?) It lights up but when u put the turn signal on for left turn it turns off. I have the two wires connected but thres no grounding wire on it, just 2 wires. Cant figure it out... i switched wires and wont light up at all, only 2 possible solutions right? I just covered ground wire with electrical tape and plugged the orange stripe w / yellow wire positvie. Lil help guys. Didnt have this problem with my 98 S hawk... thanks |
it sounds like you hooked up the running lights the first time as the oem lights have 3 connectors each i have the same kind of setup on mine but i cant remember the wire configuration off the top of my head but if you have a manual it will tell you the wire config.

Think i got it! Ground is critical in connection, gonna go check it out, cant sleep till this is done! |
Woohoo got it! Yellow goes with hard orange, green ground goes with black, and cap off orange n white stripe wire!! Same for right side blue with yellow, black with green ground, and cap off blue n white stripe! Booyaa

You can have turns and running lights if you install a diode as per the tutorial. More lights the better.
