Question Front fairing stay measurements

In an attempt to put the bike back together after doing the pre-paint body work, a pre existing crack cracked again. Looking deeper I could see my front stay is bent on one side. Can anyone out there post some measurements of the front stay? (Distance from bar end to the top bolt hole when squared up, distance from top bolt hole to top bolt hole) and any other you think will be helpful. Thanks in advance!

curiosly enouph is it the left side around mirror? seems mine was cracked at that spot and seems almost as if the left stay is bent inward a tiny bit (although I have seen this same spot of cracking on pic's of other hawks as well) so it may simply be a flaw ? wonder how many others have had this.
I havent seen it reapear on my new plastics though so far, but it was a bugger putting the plastic on that stay as holes didn't want to align easily.
anyways from fairing stay to fairing stay (inside tip to inside tip above the mirror bolts mine measures 11" even and from key hub to it same point it measures 6 1/8"

Exactly same place where mine is bent. However, I know mine is from it going down. If you look at the album I posted you can see the damage done to it by the PO. The crack is on the left side, at the top corner of the head light cut out. I think mine came back because its not "new plastics" I'm doing repairs. https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...r-paint-30233/

Damn - it is timely to see a post about this...

I have been working on putting my bike back together over the past couple of weeks. I bought it cheap, barley running and lots of broken plastic etc. No evidence of a slide or anything, PO said it tipped over in a moving truck (it's always a soft, non-moving fall right?!?).

Anyway to make a long story short, I put everything back together today and I am no where near matching the fairing stay. Everything else went back pretty peacefully, but I am like 1 inch away from the fair stays. I knew one side of the stay was bent from a broken mirror when I picked it up, but neither matches.

Wish I knew a good way to measure or space the damn thing.
