i'm going back to stock ( removing the K&N filter & pipes ) the K&N filter came with block off caps for these sub filters. what are these for ?

should i leave these cap'd ? i do have a sheet of air condition filter i could cut to size. ( dealer didn't have them ). just curious as to what this extra air flow is for ????

They supply filtered air to the back side of the carb. diaphrams which allows them to close. The stock air filter has those K&N caps built into it. If you have been running without the filters you might want to pull the carbs and clean out the crap that is built up in the slides.

If your talking about the little filters with one large hole in them, I'll try and get you the part # I had to replace mine last year.

thats them on the fish, sorry I didn't see the whole screen.
