Fault?
 

My bike has just developed a fault.

Seems to be running on one and the front header is cold. Jets are clear, have blown out the carbs, slides seem fine. Strong spark, seems to be charging. Fuel delivery is strong.

It just idles but when I open the throttle it dies. :confused

Run the battery flat with so much starting. Am wondering if the battery is dying.

Open to ideas.

Do you have compression on the front cylinder?

Sorted, is a bad battery.

Great news Spokes! I confess I doubted that the symptoms would be caused by a battery fault, just shows what I know!

None at all sadly, just got back from a wedding.

I wouldnt have thought that either but this morning with a charged battery its back running normally so there you go.
