Exhaust Header normal?
 

Does this right side header outlet look unmodified?
I have read several times here that it's common to have the right side exhaust cold with less exhaust pass thru at idle, but my bike seems to flow freely from both sides and exhaust system is same temp both sides. Wondering if OP modified this to have less restriction.

Left is main and right is overflow. Looks stock

but to answer the OPs question that is a stock header

OK thanks for the visual confirmation. It is curious I feel equal exhaust pressure at idle from both mufflers but at least I know it's stock. ;)

Learned that from a very knowledgeable gent over the pond.

No plans to change it.

Its just that my experience of how this system flows is different from what some report. I don't observe any difference in exhaust from one side to the other, so I figured I'd ask knowledgeable folks if my header really appears unmodified from stock.

Well can you explain it then?
It makes no sense to me no matter who says it.

In fact I would say that it is dead wrong, though I would like to hear your reasons why one side is a "main" and the other an "overflow" before I take the time to write out once again what is really going on with the stock header.
