i have a 1998 SH ,my problem is that my tril counter on my diplay can be reset back to zero. if i drive i counts the miles but if i turn off my bike it goes back to zero again.. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix or know what the problem might be?

The odometers memory have it's own fuse... It that's blown you get the exact symptoms you described...And as usually, this is a symptom, not a cause... But you know that by now, don't you?
