Cush Drive?
 

I was looking up on Ebay. It showed a cush drive for superhawks. what in the hell is a cush drive?

The cush drive describes the rubber spacers in the rear wheel that "cushion" the acceleration forces from the chain to the rear wheel.

I would have described them as...
Rubber blocks (or spacers) inside the rear wheel that function to smooth out (or cushion) the power pulses from the engine that arive at the sproket via the chain. :) The fewer the engine's cylinders... The more desirable they are.

Interesting... my Hawk GT didn't have one.

I remember seeing that my boy's TL had one, and I always wondered why mine didn't have one. Guess I never had to take the Hawk apart that much.
