i got a 99SH that is carb. do the newer SH have efi? and are they still making the superhawk as of 06 + 07?

I also would like to know if the optimum gear ratio is 15 tooth front 43 tooth rear? I wanna go faster off the line and in the straights. i just order a jet kit and k&n and now im thinking of messing with the sprocket sizes. one other thing i saw was the igntion advancer. anyone played with this and is it worth buying?

my plan is to have a whole new beast on my hands come spring time. I got the bike last season and was impressed with the stock power+pipes.

 

The bike ended its run in '06. The only ones made were up to '05. They remained unchanged since its inception.

I had 15/43 gearing and it was all that I ever needed. In time, you'll see that straight-line acceleration is not as exciting as 1) carving a corner and 2) the sense of powering out of said corner (I guess this is kinda close to straight-line accel.).
