clutch grabs high on lever

taking out my SH for the 1st time i notice the really high so i tried bleeding the slave and got the same results. Is it time to replace the clutch? Anybody have any luck with aftermark kits or should i go factory clutch setup?

mine grabs pretty high too.seems normal to me.
if its all bleed properly,it should be good to go.
are you getting any slipping, grinding or hard shifts.
if not,it should be fine, once you get use to it,you wont even notice.

no the bike doesn't slip, i guess i can live with a high grabbing clutch. thanks

Near the end is pretty standard for these. Same advice as saige, if it is not slipping or otherwise funky your probably good to go

+1 If you ride other bikes and then switch to this one, it seems to a little too far out at first.

Now try riding this one for awhile and go back to another bike ;)

a set of aftermarket adjustable levers cures that, i got shorty adjustable took care of that

That is one of the characteristics of this bike and is normal.

mine needs to be changed, slipping a little bit but otherwise fine... ive been beating on the factory one for the past 28k...

+1 on switching to another bike

I test road a repsol cbr1000rr with a slipper clutch... that was a strange experience
