CCT "Key"?

Hey, how are you all doing? Got a question about the CCTs. I am researching what I must do to successfully replace the automatic CCT from the factory with the manual ones that I hear are more reliable. Anyway, the factory service manual doesn't give me any details, but the Haynes book that I purchased shows a "key" that is used to lock down the tensioner prior to removal of the automated CCT (see the photo). Has anyone in the US seen one of these, and is it a referred method of locking the CCT prior to removal?
Thanks

Easily made from a piece of sheet metal. Dimensions are right there.

Absolutely not necessary if you follow the how-to's on here for swapping to manuals. Once you zip-tie chains to timing sprockets, remove cct zero issues.

Thanks for your reply. That makes things a bit easier.
