Carb sync vacum lines
 

I have been looking and looking for the thread that describes how to hook up the vacum lines to sync the carbs so you can leave everything on when you do it... I know its out there but can't seem to find it. Help please!

It is a very easy mod, but I recomend taking off the airbox and carbs when you do it. May as well clean the carbs when you do it. At least thats how I did mine.

Haha, what?! You could port and polish the heads while the carbs are off too

Please tell me what is that and how will it benefit me?

I was kinda joking about your post... removing and replacing a screw is much less involved than taking off and cleaning the carbs.

But to answer your question, in a nutshell, porting the heads is basically improving the airflow passages from you carbs into your combustion chamber and from your combustion chamber to your exhaust. On the Superhawk, it doesn't add a significant amount of performance (versus the effort it takes anyway) as the passages are pretty well designed and there isn't much aluminum left to carve out. Polishing is simply polishing these surfaces for even better airflow.
