Ok guys just please confirm or critique.
My carbs have been off and on about 10 times. I getting real close to convincing myself I'm done tuning.
I finally required Tweety's brass choke fittings due to my haste. I love the 8mm AF screws!!!!!

Curiously.... Im back to stock jets. IMHO..Dr honda stacks make the mid range richer.
BUT..... I "THINK" this is the most power/performance I'm going to get,...
Butt Dyno metrics are all I have for now. My measurements are performed at sea level in Oahu Hawaii.
My details:
Stock Air box, Stock AF, Stock Sliders with two lift holes. Front Main 175, Rear Main 178, back to 45 pilots,TPS @ 506 ohms, Tweety's 8mm AF screws 2.25 turns out in front, 2.5 turns out on rear, PAIR removal, Black widow GP exhaust , Dr. Honda velocity stacks, Flow commander set to 3 turns out which is the neutral position, Factory Pro 1.0 needles 3rd clip down from the top. Quick disconnect Fuel lines.
P.S. I tried plugging one hole in both slides and 48 pilots but my mid range too rich and top end too lean.

I would like to confirm several things I "think" I know. LOL
When tuning a carb set on a VTR 1000F, Having taken care of the TPS and PAIR

1. Carbs go back in. check TPS, choke, throttle play.
2. Check for vacuum leaks with starting fluid sprayed in suspect leak prone areas such as carb boots, vac lines and airbox.
3. Confirm carb sync is still spot on
4. Take it for a ride, let it warm up, adjust or fine tune the Air Fuel Mixture using service manual.
5. Check Carb Sync, adj idle.

please feel free to refine or help.
it is my hope this helps someone like myself that had to buy the jet kit thinking race pipes need race jets and K&N Air Filter.
Anyway IDEAS anyone??
