Can someone help me identify this ticking noise?

It’s a 2002 Superhawk 10k miles, aCCTS (changing very soon ordered the parts today).

Can't really hear the "ticking" but does it subside when you pull in the clutch lever? If so, it's a normal sound that some SH's have. Appears to maybe be a little play between the metal plates and the basket at idle and no load. Mine's really prominent as I removed the anti rattle gear and springs (less rotating mass) as well as the sound attenuation plate inside the clutch cover

Sounds okay - You'd know if CCT failure had occurred. Wise move to getting auto CCTs for manuals - don't leave it too long & make sure you install them correctly.

One cause of 'ticking' / 'clicking' can be an air leak in the exhaust between manifold / header or header/ link pipe. Most folk don't notice due to loud exhausts and ear plugs :-)

Yeah, I usually have music going on in my helmet, but my girlfriend noticed it when I pulled into the garage, everything rides fine on it and shifts very smoothly. Going to install mCCTs and then while im in there see if I can find the leak, my brother said the same thing.

My bike has a ticking noise when cold and at idle.

I know it is the exhaust however it is gone by the time the bike warms up.

My guess is exhaust gaskets .

It doers sound like an exhaust tick but you can always use a well placed stethoscope to narrow it down.
