Blown out clutch

Just bought a 98 hawk with a blown clutch basket and assembly. Will a 00 clutch basket and assembly work?

All the same. But please describe "blown." I'm curious what the real problem is.

So would I as I have a little over 83K miles on my stock clutch......
I have replaced the springs but that is just because I was in there putting the advancer in. ;)

Blown out clutch

The clutch outer/basket is in several different pieces and the clutch plates are all gone. I am also going to have to replace right crank case cover. I may have the chance to get the clucth outer and all of the plates for a good price but they are 2000. I am not sure if it will fit on my 98. I saw some pictures and it looks a little different then the one I have. Just want to be sure before I spend the cash. I was going to insert a picture but have yet to figure it out on this site since this is my first time on here.
Thanks for the Help.

It will fit just fine

Wow. I didn't think a superhawk could do that.
