Bike seems to pulse when braking...

I could not find a thread on this issue so I thought I would ask a question that has probably been beaten to death on this web site. When braking at speeds above 30 mph, the bike seems to vibrate, however I feel very little feedback in the brake lever. I think I just don't want to face the fact that my rotors are warped ($400 to replace!) What other scenarios could I be facing? BTW- I want to thank whoever posted advice on finding rotors compatible with the SH.

warped rotor sorry to say, but you can try indysuperbikes.com, broctoncycle.com, and bikebandit.com for new rotors. and i think there is a thread here somewhere about interchangeable parts.
