Bike running poorly between 3300 and 3700 rpm

Last winter I installed a dynojet stage 1 jet kit. I'm running 180/178 jets and the needle one notch richer than stock.
The bike resitates starting around 3300 and smooths out about 3700 rpm. It also very poor throttle response. Once on the gas and up in the rpms it opens up. Any ideas?

have it tuned by your nearest dynojet tuner. very finnicky carbs on the hawk and unless you have alot of time to spend on it I would leave it to a machine. (personal opinion):?

I should have listened about the dj kits. They are imposible to get right. Back to stock we go.

Make sure you have 2.5 turns on idle screws, that the diaphragms are seated properly, and if you have some exhaust and air filter, backup the needles one more notch, it should clear up. Since you already have the kit, better tune it right. I use an electric drill to disassemble the carbs, it makes the job a 90 minutes wonder. Check your plugs they should be pale, then it begs for more fuel and your DJ kit does just that.
This would be a good time to adjust your TPS to 500 ohm, it really smooth things out in those RPM's

Back to stock and running great. Of course my tps was off (742 ohms) and could not be adjusted low enough so the tab had to be tweaked. I don't have the tool or time to mess with the pilot so I just went 2 1/4 out. The manual has you start at 2 3/4 before finding highest idle and then has you screw it in 1/2 turn so from my assumption of their estimation I got 2 1/4 out.

I think the main thing dynojet did wrong was drill the slides especially in a stage one kit plus the slide springs are too light. The bike is being parted so I just wanted to know the engine was squared away before pulling it. It is so I'm a happy camper!
