Backfire

So my problem isn't as serious as any of the other backfiring issues I read through, but it seems when I roll off the throttle, I get one small pop every time. Nothing else, no time else, just when I roll off. What might cause this?

Some have mentioned popping on deceleration on bikes with the PAIR system still connected and aftermarket pipes/jetting. I believe its there for pollution control...

Well, PAIR is in place, but the pipes are stock and unless the original owner did more tinkering then he admitted to (and it was otherwise bone stock when I purchased it), so perhaps a bit of removal is in order.

disable the PAIR and you should take care of the popping. Greg has the step by step instructions on his page. Personally, I like the popping on decel. sounds cool!
I don't think there are any performace gains to be had ny disabling - just audable.
