Anyone use Koso guages? Need help

So I got what seems to be a koso guage (or a really close replica).

Do I need a diff fuel and temp sensor?

Also only registers to 4k rpm. How is yours hooked up?

Also cant find their phone # for help.

Check out that link. He just used one and I think he said he had to geta different temp sensor and he used the later fuel level sensor.

Tach may have like a 2 or 4 stroke option that needs to be adjusted.

Here is their contact info. Contact

Thanks GTS I did check out that thread. I ordered the newer fuel sender but gotta call koso about the temp sensor.

Still open to anyone who has first hand knowledge

Where did you get your gauges? Are they the same ones in the other thread? How much did you pay for them?

2 Attachment(s)
I ebayed them, I am gonna post pics and results. So far looks like this. At the moment have seperate water temp, ambient temp and battery monitor.

Paid only $60 so am way ahead.

Nice, got a lot going on there. I was kind of thinking it'd be cool if the unit had outside ari temp built in rather than having to have a separate little gauge for it. Was thinking about going that route but even thinking just swapping out mine for the later model one, just need the connector to plug in the back though which I think is going to be the hard part to find.

So gts, are you running a koso or just talking about adding ambient temp to stock?

GTS 05-15-2012 02:15 PM

No running stock now. Was looking at some of the other gauges being the ones I have are so hard to read at night. I'm sure that has a lot to do with the PO putting blue LED's in it in place of the green. But was thinking the other day it'd be nice to have an ambiant temp gague and I'd really like to have a clock.

Someone in Hawkland has to be running kosos too.

Where is Markus when you need him....lol
Have you tried sending him a PM with your questions?

Not that he has run one but when it comes to electrical stuff it's a good chance he might know something

He's hiding out since I asked him about the gear position indicator.
