Alright fellas, two questions....

1) Further to a comment someone had posted on a thread some time back, has anyone tried dispensing with half of the two-piece headgasket (you know to raise compression a bit) and run this set-up in their VTR?? Comments?

2) Does anyone know if Engine Ice (coolant) and Water Wetter can be used together?

The floor is all yours..... :)

cheers

I don't know for sure but I don't think I would mix the 2 coolants. Why would you want to anyway?

Redlines website says you can combine them, but I would wonder if there is any benefit.http://www.redlineoil.com/tech_faq.asp

Is WaterWetter compatible with antifreeze?

WaterWetter is compatible with all antifreezes including the new extended-life types that are factory-fill in your new road car. Simply pour it in.

That's for anyifreeze, which yes you can mix,(waterwetter), but EngineIce is different and it says not to mix with anitifreeze so I guess the answer is still http://www.blokessportbike.com/image...eadscratch.gif http://www.blokessportbike.com/images/smilies/dunno.gif.

If you plan on taking your bike to the track, be aware that many organizations do not allow Engine Ice. Water Wetter is acceptable by most.
