Adjusting gearlever

I just changed my ckutchplates this week and mounted everything again. But now my clutch releases very late. I mean, I have to squeeze the lever more than half way before the clutch releases and I want it to release right at the start of the squeeze. Anyone an idea how to adjust?

Thanks

You might have air in the clutch hydraulic system. Try bleeding the clutch.

Thx fot the reply, but the problem is solved. I'd push back the puching rod to far. I've opened up its belly again, pulled it a bit. Put it bach to gether a pulled a wheelie to see if everything held together.:D

It did, allthoug it's was quite slippery in the rain!
