so i need to know the spring rate of the coil , total travel of shock and any other info on the specs of the factory unit.

Yes I do search for my answers. But unfortunately some threads go way off topic and you might luck out finding the answer . And sometimes not. Hence the reason for starting a new thread. If you have the time to respond then you have you time to answer questions. If you don't know the answer then don't respond. I have been on many types of forums from datsuns, to HD, studio recording to Nissan z. From my experience this forum has to be the most interesting of them all.........
