lookit dat...it's alive!

My electrical bodge seems to work -- I added a couple of Powerlet
connectors on an aluminum plate I riveted to the side of the battery
box, and I got enough juice out of 'em to run an electric vest and a
combination laptop charger & audio amp that I built because I have an
old, small laptop with a 20GB disk full of tunes, and not enough money
to buy a proper MP3 player. So I was toasty & happy for my xmas ride.

Unfortunately, the breakfast joint I rode up to was closed, so I was
toasty, happy, and extremely hungry by the time I got home.
