wash helmet in dishwasher!

hey guys, you know... i was reading a review on modular helmets, because i am obsessed with them as much as western europe is(no idea why people still dont try em over here), and was reading a review on the nolan n100e helmet and the guy said , and i QUOTE,

"The Nolan doesn't leak, it washes rather well in the dishwasher, it
isn't all that difficult to open with one hand, and it...well, it just
works well."

what a concept! i guess you could take normal mild soap, pop the whole helmet in, and shazaam, your done! no poppin out pads anymore! well, perhaps... just wondered if you guys have heard of this.

Cold water and a little woolite. It will increase wear on the liner.

I still prefer to take it into the shower with me. It takes less than a minute to shampoo it.

Oh, and make sure the drying cycle is turned off!

I have a Nolan ... and it is a great helmet... I love the sun visor

I can't say I have put it in the dishwasher... but is vey easy to openwith one hand while riding, and as said above would be lost without the sun visor.... Other half calls it my DarthVader helmet

I've heard of people doing this (the helmet in the dishwasher thing). I just don't have the balls to try it myself. :)

Now that I've a wrecked helmet I could try this out...if I had a dishwasher. One second thought, I do have a dishwasher. Her name's Molly.
