New: Joe Rocket "SuperHawk" Jacket
Found this;
http://www.newenough.com/protective_...le_jacket.html Looks to be similar with the "Sonic" jacket, but with the added Textile front vent panels. Not to flashy looks, which I think goes along with being a SH owner. Just thought I would share a good find with fellow SuperHawk-ers. Check out the "closeout" feature on their site, you may find some good deals. I purchased some good stuff from them and would definitely buy from them again. |
Yeah, last week I received a JR Rio mesh jacket for $25. Yes 25 bucks! I also ponied up for new boots and am trying the Setup sunrise boots found in the closeout section for $89. Nice price too.
Personally, I don't think that SuperHawk jacket is priced for the closeout section although it looks to be very nice. I have a Honda textile jacket made by First Gear and it's a great piece of gear (pun intended). Typically, Honda badged accessories tend to be first rate. |
Yea, the SH jacket is new for 08'. I used to have the FirstGear Honda jacket too. Good quality, sold it cause I bought FirstGear "Kenya" jacket. I bought my girlfriend a JR Meteor jacket from New Enough for $60 and a JR mesh jacket for $37. If you don't need the latest style, they are the best deal around.

The SH jacket by Joe Rocket has been around for a while. I got one in May of this year. Its a great looking jacket, I got it for 350 shipped from DennisKirk.com. One of my fav features is the reflective "HONDA" on the back. The only thing that I have a slight beef with is the armor and the liner that it comes with. I have a all leather Tour Master jacket that has thicker armor and the liner has full sleeves while the SH jacket did not. The Tour Master cost around 225. I really like the SH jacket on hot (SOCAL hot) days. with the textile parts it keeps you cool even at low speeds.
