F'n Deer

F'n Deer
They come at night and mow down my garden. Jump the fence, and spend all night lounging in the back yard. Well that is about to end.
Rigged a light and an old (JC Penny Power Kraft) saber saw to a motion sensor. Welded an extension onto a blade and have a couple of old CDs hanging from it.
Makes a racket when its tripped. Between the motion and sound I'm thinking that the deer won't come back.

How do you have this mounted to the front of your VTR? Don't oncoming vehicles set it off? Couldn't settle for a couple of deer whistles, huh?

It's been windy here the last couple of days. Disabled the saw because the wind moving nearby foliage causing the the motion sensor to trigger. Sure enough that is the night the deer came back. Chewed the new planted peach tree till no leaves were left. Guess I'll have to leave it on 24/7.
