well thank you sir. My VCR doesn't work to record the races from speed channel whose coverage is minimal to piss poor anyway and angers me so much that I almost don't even care if I miss them. Yesterday we were installing some new parts on Steve29's SH and rode afterward, so i missed them again. I loved, and that's not too strong a word, the Euro coverage superpole and both races Seb put up for us previously and have watched them 3 times so far, so I was devasted when it stopped. "Here's a taste of the best pie you ever ate, now you can't have any more". hahaha

thanks for the link tweety and I'll be checking this link out now.:)

Tweety 05-17-2010 09:25 AM

Oh, BTW I just realized, to me it's a non issue... I do it without thinking, but it might not be obvious to all...

You need this to download the files, the site above links to a small file, open it in this program and it downloads from multiple servers... It's a bit slower for each user, but it doesn't kill the servers...

And it seems he's slow this time, so no files up yet... Bummer...:( I have beer and pizza planned tonight...

Tweety 05-18-2010 04:14 AM

Links are active for the South Africa races...

I'm downloading now, about 50% done. I'm on as free user, but when that expires, I don't yet see subscription in dollars, just euro currency, isn't that pesos? hahaha I guess I'll find out soon. See how it works out. thanks Tweety.

thusspakebenji 05-18-2010 06:47 AM

If you dont mind watching the races after they've happened you can always use torrents if you're familiar with them.

Tweety 05-18-2010 07:12 AM

Gladly if you point out a reliable source... So far I haven't found one... This one is consistant & reliable though...

thusspakebenji 05-18-2010 07:24 AM

I use btjunkie.org for 99% of my torrent needs. Not sure if there is one specializing in races but I'll check around.

Tweety 05-18-2010 07:29 AM

Yeah, and to date there are now available torrents for round 1 & 2... While I just watched Round 6... See my point here?

And yes there are specials, but then you need to maintain a ratio...

I have downloaded installshield, jd downloader, etc. and the some races are listed, but can't get them to run. I might need a license #, I don't know. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.:)

Tweety 05-18-2010 09:48 AM

Well if you download the file linked at shiftcontrol and open it in jdownload then it downloads 4-5 archives (.rar) for each race... When it asks for a password to unpack them use "www.shiftkontrol.com"...

thusspakebenji 05-18-2010 09:50 AM

Ah lame, torrents are hit or miss, never 100%. Always worth the try though :)

nath981 05-18-2010 07:12 PM

thanks for trying to help tweety. no matter what i've tried, it ended in shit. I also heard of a site called paddockpass, but it won't let me download either. Hours of fruitless efforts, but worth a try.

thanks, Nathan

Hi Guy's

Sorry Bikes havent been my main priotiy at the moment, still use mine daily and give it a blast but the daily communte and thrashing at a weekend has taken its toll engine isnt what it should be and dont have the money to fix it and kinda lost intrest

still watching the moto-gp, world superbikes, and BSB and of course the TT when its on

will try get the forum sorted and some 2011 races uploaded hadn't realy bothered with it as hadn't got any active users

but yeh will get up what ever some one wants.

took down the stuff that was on as i was short of sever space and couldn't afford the upgrade at the time.

any way rambling like mad now so ill stop

sounds depressing. If you're not into, not passionate about it any more, or maybe never was, don't worry about it. Sell your bike to someone who can fix it or let it lie and move on. While I'd love to see the great coverage you afforded us for that brief time, nothing like the pitiful Speed channel we're stuck with, it's okay.

Personally. i could pay $35-40 a month for Moto GP coverage, but I need that money for motorcycle gas, tires and parts to feed my addiction which is riding more that watching. Break a leg seb!

Thanks.
