I came upon this, and figured this was the place to put it. Check this video out of Irish road racing. Uhhh ya, it's pretty amazing. My butt puckered just watching it.

When the h-e-double hockeysticks isn't conditions iffy on a irish roadcourse?

I know one year they debated if the Southern 100 would be cancelled since part of the course had been dug up fixing something last minute, leaving a five feet gravel band across the road... Most of the riders voted to go anyway, saying it was on a straight so it didn't matter much... But the organizers managed to get a road crew out there last minute and put some tarmac over it just hours before the event started...
