I felt it was worth watching - Stoner looked good and Speed had some good camera angles on his power slides through "Stoner Curve". Would have like to see Nick finish ahead of his team mate but he couldnt pull it off. I did learn today that Nick holds the lap record which was a pleasant surprise.

How many sportbike riders have ever gone an honest 150 mph, let alone done it while sliding sideways and hanging off.
If they're honest very few have ever done 150 let alone try to take a turn at that speed. The first time I went 150 years ago when I sat upto grab the brakes the air blast almost blew me off the bike.

Misc Ramblings

PI is a great track. Good for Stoner to win his "last" home race.

I have a feeling this guy will regret retiring so young.

But MotoGP is boring & it is a two class racing series which is a ******* joke. I still watch, hoping something will happen, like maybe Pedrosa lights himself on fire

Anything, something.

Well I've got Dakar in Jan. & AMA Daytona in March

Have you heard of "beggars cant be choosers"? Well as bikers, we are those beggars. I think it cuz car guys think they are macho & brave but then realize bikes scare the crap out of them so have an underlying jealous hatred for us.

Also, most car guys have had their girl cheat on them with a biker so that doesnt help either. I can account for a good % of them myself.
