Nicky back on a Honda?
I've read it's official... www.asphaltandrubber.com/motogp/nicky-hayden-aspar-honda-motogp-2014/
I just hope he gets back to the podium no matter what he's on. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/wp-c...20-635x422.jpg |
Hope you're right but it isn't official till you see the Honda Press Release.

Oahu might be right but on what a Pangale, a reduced Aprilia effort, BMW will be gone. No I think he's better off racing for top five than going to WSBK right now. Besides he's been riding crap for the last 5 years, now at least he can turn in.

I think the real issue is that he is a superbike guy on what are now essentially 250cc gp bikes in how they ride and handle.
Only gp guys go fast on em since they dont spit you off unless there is a computer glitch (which somehow no one dares mention) Watch all the motogp crashes and you can see where the electronics let them down. I hope all the best for Nicky. He has gotten bum luck with Honda catering to Dani and an unrideable Duc monster. And what the heck ever happened to Spies?? |
What ever he does I would at least like to see go back to his flat track roots.would be nice to see him run and win the Indy mile or Springfield mile to take his place in the Grand Slam Club. Don't count him out in GP either the man has one of the strongest work ethics and natural abilities on the grid.Coupled with the mental toughness he already possessed that has most certainly grown with his years on the rupured duck. It will be exciting what ever he does.

Yes and we've seen he doesn't fear banging fairings. I wish Nicky all the luck in the world, he'll not be world champion again but he might kick some ass on the Honda!

Great news! He'll probably be able to get closer to the front!
|
:D Hopefully he doesn't pull a Colin and settle for just being there. I wanna see him top ten at the least. Also hate seeing Ducati screw him like they are. Engine/exhaust problems??? wth:mad:

I know this is a "factory racer", but isn't it just a step up from the CRT bikes? Good luck getting into the overall top 10, much less the top 5...

Edwards is a putz. I don't see Nicky doing that though. |
Don't forget what that "putz" did for the Honda twin...

I have it on good authority that Colin didn't reach his potential but he certainly doesn't suck(I don't recall him being lapped on the CRT). Nobody "coasts" in MotoGP. Nicky will never win again. There are 4 bikes capable of winning and that is not likely to change. It's essentially fixed racing.

Don't count Nicky out in a wet race!
