Rotax Grand Finals in New Orléans at the NOLA race track. Drivers from around the world are battling it out to see who will be the world champion in their class.

I've been in karting for a greater portion of my life, and if you enjoy four wheel racing, it's some of the best races you may ever see. First ten spots usually within the same 100th or 1000th of a second from each other. Don't know of too many other racing events with such close timing.

There's an event in Pennsylvania called MOTORAMA that showcases some kart racing. Lots of classes from little kids up to seriously fast ones. It's pretty neat to see.

Many people do not realize how fast these things are. When you get in the shifter class, 0 to 60 to 0 MPH in less then 4 seconds, and you can get up
to 2.5g's cornering.

Wow. Thats pretty intense. What about when you guys crash though? How badly injurred can one actually get on a kart ?
