That image that you posted made me feel like I have food poisoning, and it's your fault.
OK. Watched the vid and I feel much better. One thing still bothers me. What are they speaking? I couldn't understand most of what was said.

Yeah I guess it could be considered blasphemy but then again I'm the one who's been wanting to build a VR1000 replica off a TL1000R. And I had a hard time understanding him at times too. I guess we must sound funny to them, it's their language lol.

Lol... That was funny:

"Is that a shift light?"

"Did it come on?"

"No..."

"It's a high temp light.........."

Lol... Hilarious.

I've listened to Martin many times. Never been able to understand more than three words in succession. I do admire his zeal for his work.

And in fairness I posted a really crappy pic of the Britten tribute and later found better ones of it. Regardless of what you think of replica type stuff if you check it out on vtr1000.org it was actually pretty darn nice.

Dont know what became of that bike. But I believe the VTR has a few design elements from the Britten. Even the clutch cover has the same triangle on it. In the book about John it is mentioned that Honda had a motor ( i think) and the designs for some months. Then they gave them back saying they were not interested. VTR came out not long after.....

What appeared to be someone's garish attempt at styling turned out to be something else entirely.
It was the color induced memory of the reasons I've had to come in contact with a pink fluid that upset my perception.

Unreal. I guess that's how some lucky folks get to spend their day. I'm happy to know that some folks with a few bucks actually KNOW what to do with it. Curious the last time one of these changed hands and what it sold for. If a Harley VR1000 will bring 75-100k I can't imagine one of these wouldn't bring a small forture. Also curious what they do for spares.

Andrew Stroud is on the factory bike, not sure on the other. The factory bike is said to be worth 1 million NZD.

If you get to ride it, dont drop it.....
