So while minding my own business one day I came across the televised racing series Australasian superbikes!

Turns out due to highly scientific facts, those down under blokes have summer when it should be winter!!!! So they are apparently down there living and laughing it up while we have shoefulls of slush and salt in our teeth.

So as fate would have it, they have some guys who appear quite serious about racing superbikes. I want to say Troy Herfos (bad spelling) was winning.

We Yanks remember him from the supermoto championship over here.

Anyway its on here in NYC on MAVTV cable channel 402. Check you local listings but it sure a cure for the wintertime blues.

 

Been watching for a couple of months. They really get after it. They could use a few more camera positions too. I like the announcer they use as well.
