Ninja H2
300hp supercharged ! Me want for Xmas...:O)
Looks like it came out of a Transformers movie. |
Y'all can keep your little fancy rice burner..... I want REAL power... so Harley's 103 HO (HO stands for High Output for the uninitiated) is what I'll be looking at.......
|
Rear tire to smoke in 10 seconds!
I like the downforce wings on the fairing, if they work... |
The H2R is nearly 300hp...but I doubt the street going version H2 will have that amount.
From some numbers I've seen tossed around online, it looks like the H2R will be $80,000 and the H2 is $40,000? |
I think it will be north of 100K!
|
One horse produces about 15 horsepower, so that thing's only pumping out about 20 horses worth of power in the real world. Unimpressive. I'll take 103 of the High Outputs like mikstr.
|
That's about 15 peak horsepower, 7. Not sustained. I know this because I read it on theChive, the source of most of my impressive knowledge.

i prefer the cold beverage of the same name. |
well, the name of the beer sums up the technology of the bikes quite well too, lol
sorry for the jack... Jack :) |
OMG there are a few Angels ready to trade their wings for that thing!
|
My question is... If I loft the front wheel doin' 60-70 will the wings catch the air and just flip me right the fark over? Or does it have that fancy technology that prevents me from popping a wheelie?
For those 2 reasons, I'm out. http://wac.7725.edgecastcdn.net/8077...pitch-ever.jpg |
Those "winglets" aren't to provide downforce...Imagine what a downforce like that would do when you're leaned over at 50+ degrees in a turn..not a good thing.. The winglets (from what I've read) aid in high speed stability, so they could keep the wheelbase shorter for better handling, yet still be stable at very high speeds. Not sure what it would do when the front wheel comes up.
To me that fairing is hideous. The street version supposedly has slightly different styling, but I haven't seen it yet. |
Street version is putting out something like 200 horses right ?
from a 1000 thats double a standard hawk has common guys thats impressive, but i am wondering about engine longevity how good are the internals ? does anybody know ? must be some titanium in that race version though... bet you that race version needs some higher octane fuel to make it somewhat safer and if you run on lower octane you would void some warranty but anyone who can efford the R can afford some race fuel to  |
For common guys it might be impressive, but we're Superhawk owners! Excelsior!
|
Kawasaki confirmed it will be at the Orlando expo on the 16 thru 19 Oct open to the public the 18&19. AIMExpo | The Show That Changed The Powersports Industry

Kawasaki has a supercharged 1300cc engine they use in their jet-skis so it's probably pretty well tested. If this engine can make 200hp+ then at the power levels it'll be used most of it's live (much less), it should last a very long time.
DJ's (ahumm afrojack crashed another ferrari.... ahumm) need i say more hope he doesnt get his bike license |
