Lotus C-01
I look at this bike and see a mixture of café racer, Tron and Mad Max for those of you old enough to remember.
200hp v-twin I would love a chance to ride. I guess it will remain just in my dreams. I think it's awesome. Official website of LOTUS MOTORCYCLES | C-01 | powered by motioncompany |
Here`s my take: small dose of ingenuity with a HUGE dose of fugly.......
do the honourable thing and stick that engine in a real motorcycle and then we`ll see...... until then, it`s just a discussion piece (and a horrid one at that)........ who`s next? :) |
If it turned like the machines in Tron..I'd ride it! lol Kinda looks like a black sea bass on wheels

Sea bass with lazers on them? |
Looks like one of these ugly Hardly Sportsters in some plastic envelope from one of these discovery channel buildup's.
|
Yup. Not the best looking bike. Could say it's down right ugly. But hey it's a motorcycle and all motorcycles are cool, even the not so pretty ones.
That bike is always going to be worth the ante up cost, or more, as they are not going to make but only a few. Instant collectors item for those with money to burn. |
FUGLY is the word I would use to describe it.
The motor sounds O.K. H'mmm, who knows it's horrid ! |
Its almost like they tried to copy a RSD bike... and failed... miserably
|
Huh. I kinda like it- the graphic stripes wrapping around the whole bike and a smooth no nonsense shell work well together. Looks very retro formula one without being another cookie cutter cafe bike. And it doesn't look like an absolute torture to ride unlike other bikes such a la Confederate.

Nope, you're wrong.

Why ? Because they don't have a yellow one ?;) |
That's, obviously, the biggest part of it.
