2005 Suzuki GSXR1000
While Honda and Kawasaki was getting their 15 minutes Suzuki took and rebuilt their 1000 once again .
That thing makes 14 more HP than last year . It oughta be a hoot to spin around a track . http://www.amadirectlink.com/news/20...1000/index.asp |
gixer 1k has been the king of liter class performance for the longest time, I never thought they would sit back and watch that title being taken away from them. I have liked it since the day I saw it at the bike show. (even though I like the Yamaha and Honda's overall look better.)

Here's a link to a couple of videos of the new bike . I could not find the exact URL .
That thing sounds pretty nice for a stock muffler . http://www.sport-touring.net/cgi-bin...T;f=23;t=28506 |
Re: 2005 Suzuki GSXR1000
The newest unconfirmed rumor is that with a Yoshimura full exhaust these bikes will put 179 hp to the wheel then factor in the ram air .
Looks like the ergo's on the 05 are a bit more relaxed than Zuki's rivals |
Re: 2005 Suzuki GSXR1000
Since the original post I've seen inside the K5 engine . The rods are VERY nice pieces and head flow is out of this world . The head works so much better , they are running less cam than the 04 model but still make more HP .

I have no idea why manufacturers can't make free flowing heads all the time. Have you seen how rough the VTR's heads are inside?
