For those on a budget.

Just fitted some Delkevic cans to me 98 Storm and have to say I'm pretty happy with them. Best thing is the price. My oval stubby stainless cans were just £200 including all link pipes, clamps etc. So even at today's currency axchange rates that's less than $400 for a pair of cans. Titanium is also available but the price rises accordingly. Fitting was a little trial and error, but they lined up nicely in the end. They come with removable baffles so you can choose whether or not to piss off the neighbours. I keep mine in as I have 5am starts most weeks. There is a bit of popping on the overun, but I suspect my bike may have been rejetted in the past and needs some attention at that end.

I bought them from DK Motorcycles here in the UK and they were delivered in just 2 days. Definitely recommended!:)

Pics to follow when I finish the bike. Undertail is on, indicators changed and awaiting my Moriwaki style bellypan. Also planning to polish the frame and swingarm as they are showing a little corrosion (but no crash damage). I think the previous owner lived in a salt mine (or maybe it was just Wales)

pics?

Pics will follow very soon. The bike is still a bit of a cosmetic mess following the abuse of the previous owner. Once the frame and swingarm are polished (maybe the exhaust system too) and rusted nuts and bolts are replaced I'll get some good pics on here. But it was a bargain bike and I love spannering so I can't really complain.

Phuquing A! Ouch! NUHawk, Hope you are better off than me after the effing cager took out the 150cc and me... broken hand and beat up legs...

No crash damage on mine at all, it was purely cometic and caused by neglect. Not even any evidence of a drop. But it did look like the bike had been polished with a brillo pad and then been bathed in salt for a few months. Not good. But it's slowly getting there and will be a real value superbike.

I've given the bike a good clean up today and it's not looking too bad, so will try to upload some pics tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay in getting pics uploaded. Work has been a bit too hectic this week.

Well, I have a few pics here, but I'll be damned if I can get them uploaded. I think I'd need to make them tiny for the file size to be acceptable. Anybody got any suggestions?

interesting baffles, I've seen them in a local add too. I was wondering what sound they make.

Is it a nice low v-twin sound (with/without restrictors)?

Those look very nice. Good find! Don't know if they sell them here in the US.
