stock modded exhaust questions
 

sorry if this has been up here before. Im new here and i did search and found nonething. my computer skills suck. so here me out before you judge me. lol..
I bought a 1998 superhawk with 10k for 1500.00 beautiful bike i love it. but hate the exhaust. It has two bros exhaust and i want a high mount or???? i was thinking can i just cap one of the exhaust ends under the bike and just run a signal muffler? i love the looks of a single can or a high mount. i was a cbr600rr owner for years till someone else like my bike more than i did. and well bastards stole it at a swap meet. but any way this bike was cheap and the hawk is the best bike ive ever rode. wont ever go back to 600s. but any way is there a way or does anyone have a set of mid high mounts they wanna sell.????

I am sure that on this very forum theirs enough information that its a bad idea to run 1 muffler, it will run but you lose hp and performance
not going to much into detail : exhaust pulses and stuff it just needs 2 pipes
just get a nice dual muffler highmount kit

be more general with what you want and most of the time you'll find something. if you search in the for sell area just type in high mount.

I gained bhp when I had my 2-1 on �� as can been seen on the vtr forum

You gain hp but lose torque. I did this years back and went back to duals.
