speedoHealer installed
certainly not a new item, but just installed a speedohealer today. install went very easy - about 5 minutes total. The written directions for programming are a disaster in writing, but the online calculator makes it a snap. between the stock speedo being off, and then the sprocket change, my speedo was a full 10% off - going 72 at an indicated 80. So, perhaps for the first time ever, I have a bike with an accurate speedometer.
highly recommend if you are considering it. |
where's the best price for these?
anybody got a link they can post? TIA
|
Not sure about best prices - when I looked it was aboutt he same everywhere, I got mine from calsportbike
http://www.calsportbike.com/ main site for speedohealer http://www.healtech-electronics.com/ click around, you'll even find a pictorial tutorial specifically of the SH (here) http://www.speedohealer.com/your_pic...f/tutorial.htm |
I used several of these devices and they work great. Unfortunately my Cbr/vfr guage combo required an unusually high correction factor (1000's%) and only version 4.0 of the SH can do this. So......
Shameless plug/threadjack: I have two others for sale that didn't have enough correction factor for my app but will work fine on the VTR or any other stock(ish) bike that needs to fix a speedo or gearing error. See the classified for more. |
which version did you get? 3.0 or 4.0? if you got 4.0, is it pretty awesome?
