speedo healer vs "yellow box"??

So after re-gearing (+3 rear), I realize my speedo is way off (my gps verifies almost 15mph at 85mph) But its also that the miles on the odo are really racking up fast. So I googled & found a speedo healer v4, and a yellow box brand, Anyone have any suggestions? On post said that some brands wont drive the needle below a certain speed. Any help would help. Thanks

I've been running a speedo healer for about 4 years now with no problems.
Easy to install and program with good support from their web site.
I got the one with the remote trigger which makes programming easier.

If you drop a tooth in the front and add 2 to the back does that correct things, I mean does it keep the same ratio this way?

Using a speedo healer & have had no problems, fairly simple setup. No experience with the yellow box. There is also another new one out by speed tuner (www.speedotuner.com) that's even suposed to be easier to use.

speedohealer - also good experience with it. and you can get them with a secret little remote button to tell you your highest speed on a ride always good for a chuckle after a ride

Another alternative is a bicycle speedometer. Accurate, easy to read, cheap.

True, but you'll still be racking up unridden miles on the odometer.

When I bought my Speedohealer, it was the only device that came with a plug-and-play connector specific to Honda. That was at least 3 years ago, so not sure if Yellow Box had improved any by now. The remote mount high speed recall button is great after you let a friend go for and ride, and after he gets back you then ask "how fast did you get her up to?" Some people will not tell you the truth.

Crafty Beer Hunter, Crafty. If they lie to you do you let them ride the bike ever again?

$100 is a good price for it. I think you'll be happy with it.
BTW, not a good idea to have the wife looking over your shoulder when you push the recall max speed button.

Sure, if I trust the friend enough to let him ride it once, and he comes back undamaged, then a little fib is not going to keep me from letting him ride it again. It does, however, give me a little insight into the individual's mindset. This can be useful in other areas of the friendship.
