Sneaky Pete NOS - whattaya think?

well, 20 hp would be nice every now and then; and it would give me a excuse to go ahead and install the BMC filter and jet kit.

how much more rich do you think you would need?

If you were to get that you should buy enough hardware to make it a wet system. No use blowing up the motor when you hit it. Unless you're only running at the dragstrip there's really no point in rejetting just for NOS. Running too rich for a period of time will be just as damaging to the motor as running super lean for a short amount of time. Too much fuel washes the oil off the walls of the cylinders.

Remember too that the crank is a weak spot on VTR`s that are "overly" hopped up (not sure if it's torque or rpm related failure though). Just something else to be aware of.

but the real question is, is how sneaky is it? :wheelie:

All kinds of dangers with NOS. So well worth it though ;)

looks like NOS makes a wet kit in the same hp range for bikes:
