Shogun Frame Sliders
Hey All,
I looked in the knowledge base, but I didn't find anything regarding the shogun frame sliders. Will they fit on the SH? http://www.nomadicmoto.com/index.php...oducts_id=1042 Thanks, KG |
Considering they talk about CAD designing it for each model, I doubt it's no cut on the SH. The T-Rex sliders have an offsetting piece of metal for them to work (no cut), and this clearly doesn't.
Unless you have RC-51 fairings, then sure, it probably will ;) |
I have 'em on my 1000RR but have never seen them advertised for the VTR.
|
i have the LSL Spiegler deal and they were no cut if that is a concern....

i made about 5 turns on my mt. bolts. and got a funny feeling, do i need that special tool [ nut wrench] that the manual says i need to remove the 2 mounting bolts [center of bike] or do i need it for those nuts on 2 front and 2 rear.
it's 10 mins later and i decided that i would be good w/o that tool. but now i'm wore out and nervous from removing that tight ass bolt. should the bolt be get tighter while removing or not ? thanks |
Be careful! Those frame bolts have threads-lock all over. I snapped one while loosing it using a perfectly calibrated torque wrench. How I managed to take the broken bolt out of the frame is a looong PITA story.
