Remus Exhaust
For those of you shopping around for exhaust, here's a recommendation:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/REMUS...item413f7fe686 If you've never seen/heard these in person they are NICE. Not too loud, top notch quality, lifetime guarantee. Just thought I'd bring this up since I saw 'em browsing ebay. |
These seem like nice pipes for the money, but I personally like it when the cans are parallel to the slope of the tail. These Remus pipes seem to have too much angle for my liking.
|
uhh what bike is that on? that doesnt look like a VTR subframe...

the remus website has them for the SH. A buddy of mine had a 2 into one on his boxer Beemer. Made an old man bike sound pretty good.
|
well in that case the comment about the angle of the pipes is null and void since we have no idea what this system looks like on a VTR.

Here is a pic of a Remus Genesis system on my Hawk. Hope it helps. The sound is awesome. Deep, mellow and yet powerful.

Yep, didn't even pay attention to what bike was shown in the ebay listing. The actual VTR pipes look better. Nice bike Scatterbrained.

Remus carbon cans on my hawk - these have been on since 2001 and still sound the same and look new. I'd highly recommend Remus.

Nice bike, Bill!

Bill,
If you don't mind, what is the outside diameter of the midpipe as it enters the Remus can? is it 2" or something else? Thanks. |
Thanks for the compliments -- Dan -- the mid pipe is just about 2".
