how many people would be interested in my carbon plate mod? i claim no gains, just loss....weight loss that is . how much would you be willing to pay for this mod? |
The one for the carbs? Looks like you've got a couple in your other thread.
|
What plate are you speaking of?
|
?
Carbon plate... weight loss... carbs.... sounds like some sort of Atkins diet to me.
|
I think its a surgical procedure.:p
|
depends on the weight loss and cost involved, for me anyhow...
|
Carbon bits are trick, there will always be a market for stuff like that!

was looking for a feeler as to what people thought they were worth. have to cover cost of materials and time. they are very light not sure of exact weight, but there is a very noticeable difference. |
Can you weigh the OEM part? I am certain the carbon copy is very light. Knowing the weight of the steel version will give me an idea of what can be saved. Cost, of course, is the other factor for me (don't mean to go on repeating myself...)

looks to be 150 plus shipping. they are cut by hand one at a time from a pattern. |
thanks.
In a world of unlimited funds, I would buy some but for now, I'll use that money for some of those neat, "unproven" billet velocity stacks I have been reading about instead.... |

no carbon, we're going billet. It is obvious from the prints that the stacks are finely designed parts and only a CNC can be trusted to reproduce them accurately (as an added benefit, much cheaper too)
