PAIR blockers
 
Can someone give me information on these....like what they are...or do. I did a search for it and didn't turn up anything. Im kinda new to this forum. just picked up an 02 Hawk about a month ago.

2 metal plates used to plug the PAIR system openings on the engine heads. Useful only if you decide to get rid of it.

That would be nice, but...no.

Disabling the PAIR mainly makes it easier to remove the air box and get to the carbs.

The PulseAir (PAIR) system directs fresh air into the exhaust to burn hydrocarbons, which is a component of smog.
