Narrow Band O2 meter? Worth it?

Thinking about getting a narrow band O2 meter. Small Koso unit. Then have mounts welded on all our bikes so I can tune each one.

As Im having some issues on the VTR Im thinking this is a good idea.

Anybody used one?

IMHO no its not worth it, narrow bands are not really used for precise engine tuning but Ive been looking at this kit that sells on moto madness for $200, I found the same kit on ebay for $160 shipped. I'll get the name of it in a little bit for you but it comes with everything, weld on bung, sensor, digotal guage, and all wiring

Do a google search on narrow band vs wide band before you take my opinion though

I went wide band, and yes worth it.
Second set of headers I welded in bungs.. Use um, plug um run for a few days to see how I like the changes.. once done,, swap back to my ceramic coated headers.

Thats my plan, hope my bank account doesnt run dry before I can do that setup lol :p

Cool. Glad I asked before buying it. will save for a wide band.

On a side note I guess it would be best to put 2 plugs in. One for each cylinder and tune one at a time.

Oh great. Now I want an air/fuel meter for my bike too. Anyone try this unit?

Thats almost identical to the kit Im looking at, same brand, different gauge face, same price...

I work at an engine research facility, and there are a ton of the Innovate Motorsports O2 sensors. They are Bosch sensors, so they work great.
