As you can see there are 2 bikes in the picture one w/o a front end :)

I am about to install a 01 gsxr 750 front end on my SH
1)gsxr 750 forks, brakes, triple trees, gsxr master cylinder
2)gsxr front wheel
3)EBC full floating 320mm rotors
4)customer made steering stem
5)tl1000 heli bars
6)gsxr front fender

The other bike in the background is a CBR f2 I picked up for $500 bucks

It runs great, but needs some TLC, brake lines, suspension work, the plastic on it is from a F3 but it was kinda jerry rigged on there so I will probably just get some race fairings because its gonna be a track bike if I crash oh well

Man, you got bigger balls than I having that bike balanced between the kickstand, rear wheel, and floorjack. Sheesh! Makes me nervous just looking at it!

yeah I was a little nervous when i got the forks off but it seems to be balancing ok, I wouldnt got sit on it or anything :)

i use the same method, only jacked further in the rear (to put weight on the front wheel) to lube and clean my chain/sprocket

Cool - I guess the missing front end is the one that's headed my way :)

I have two chickens - a perfect one and a wrecked one I got for $600 to use as a track bike. I'm gonna try out that 900rr front end and decide which bike gets to have it.

That's awesome! My ball's obviously are NOT as big as my complete front set of bodywork is in my bedroom as I attempt my front end swap. Now all I have to do is try jacking up my Taurus by the oil pan and seeing what happens!

By the way thanks for the pics of the superhawk-believe it or not it was the kick in the butt I needed to get me in the garage tonight and I swapped over my RC51 front end. Have some more work to do here and there but can't wait to finish it all up and get some pictures on here.

I used to do it all the time with my GSXR. Never once had a problem.

Hey that's a cool gixxer! Front end swap on that too?

I realize this thread is a bit old, but were you able to use the triples from the gsxr front end on the superhawk? From some of the reading I've done on here it seems people use the 929/954 triples with the 50mm gsxr forks but have had bearing fitment issues with the suzuki triples.

I have a '02 gsxr750 front end I'm considering putting on a salvage VTR that needs a new front end anyway. Just trying to figure out what I'm getting myself into.

Thanks.
