mirror replacements?

I have always used CBR 900 mirrors with a little modification, But I am now looking for another less labor intensive idea. I bought a set of r6 ones but they are too wide for my taste. I tried fitting some sv650 ones but theyre slightly the wrong angle. Anyone use any others??

mirror replacements

I have had my favorite results with stock mirrors plus "Bernies " Mirror extenders. They are made in Germany and available from www.whacccessories.com
I can see everything along side and behind me now and I think they look great too! Lots of adjustability. Hope that helps-Mort

That acually gives me an idea. I can make angle correction plates out of delrin for the sv mirrors.(same bolt pattern). I really dislike the look and performance of the stock triangle mirrors. They come to a point right where you need the most vision

Tweety, thats a heck of a job but way past my threshold of labor for mirrors. I have a set of sv650 mirrors with the same bolts but slightly wrong angle, so I thiink I might go that way. You said somewhere in there that the mirrors you used are way off on bolt pattern right?

Yep... About 15 mm off... So an adapter won't really work... And I wanted to hide the wiring...

Tweety if you're ever feeling bored and broke, can you make me a pair your mirrors? I know you said "never-ever", but c'mon.
