Lowering using new dog bone

Does anyone know where to find an aftermarket dogbone to lower about 1 inch?

Why in the world would you want to lower a super hawk? Good luck though, not alot of lower and stretch guys here.

I dont think the hawk really has "dogbones". I know bikes that do but it may be tricky to attempt this on the hawk. I could be wrong but the hawk linkage doesnt look like the dogbone setups I have seen.

I know it's been done- someone on here lowered their linkage (if I can remember who, I'll post it), but unless you have very specific reasons to do so, it's not necessarily a good idea to lower the hawk- it already scrapes in corners and is super stable as it is. Most people on here raise the rear for performance reasons...

Ask this guy how he did it maybe...

Here you go. lowering link will adjust the rear of the bike infinitely between stock height and a 3 inch drop. Price:$131.00

I install one on my red bike

Watch how low u go! The exhaust will make contact with the rear brake. Also the shock will pinch the swing arm. From my experience lowering the bike is wrong! Find a way to lower the seat. Everyone on here will beat the hell out of you. For good reason! If you go too low and go into a turn, there is a HUGE chance of loosing traction to your rear tire and causing you to dump. I have trouble standing on the ground and keeping my ass on the seat. But crashing is by far a lot dumber. When you drop the rear you Must drop the front or the bike is hard to steer. Wants to flop side to side. I have my bike 1.5 rear and 1 in front. Shock is set to hardest setting. For everyone else the dog bone can raise the bike too FYI. This will help if you want to get deeper in the corners.

My red 98 launches much harder then the black 98 without putting the front in the air. They both have the same setup gears, engine, however exhaust is different. I can take a non extended busa until 130ish.
